Blood Flow Exercise through Kokyuu no Kata.
Kokyuu no Kata is similar to Tai Chi, and is one of the forms or kata of Byakko Ryu Jujutsu. Practice of this form disciplines your breathing, increases circulation of the blood, and enhances balance and proper posture. Students from nine to ninety years of age have successfully trained in this practice. Loose fitting clothes are suggested, but not necessary.

Primal Exercise for Physical Fitness.
This extremely effective method of exercise was first developed hundreds of years ago to help strengthen practitioners of Kung-Fu, who did not have access to modern exercise equipment. Also known as Animal Walking, we had to change the name because too many people thought it was a dog obedience class!

In fact, participants are taught to mimic the walking styles of different animals. The benefits of this type of exercise include learning to manipulate your own body weight, low impact movement (reduces chance of injury), increased balance on a core level, and increased strength without additional bulk. The training can be adjusted for any level of practitioner, from beginners to fitness professionals.

Byakko Ryu Jujutsu for Balance, Timing, Speed, and Form.
Byakko Ryu Jujutsu is the culmination of Sensei Cerpok's twenty-eight years of martial arts study and teaching and is another avenue for physical fitness. This non-competition system of self-defense relies heavily on timing, balance, speed, and form rather than on size and strength. Byakko Ryu Jujutsu is taught in the traditional style, with formality and etiquette. Practitioners of this system can be taught escapes, joint locks, striking with the hands and feet, take-downs, and grappling. Lessons are always taught in a caring and cooperative learning environment.
